A couple of notes on the obituary for Mrs Keeling. First of all I was confused by the subject line Sarah Amanda Keeling Obit - February 22, 1938. Her tombstone can be viewed on the Barry County web site Mt Pleasant Cemetery, according to it she was born in 1884 and died 1966. Also since she was born in 1884 and most likely wasn't a Keeling until she married Sam, she isn't the Sarah Keeling listed in the 1870 census. According to the 1930 census Sam and Sarah married about 1902 she was born in Arkansas and he in Tennessee. Both his parents wereborn in Tennessee, Her mother was born in Texas, her father in Arkansas. Ruth

There are two (2) Sarah Amanda Keelings. I looked at the wrong one. You are right in that Sarah Amanda DRAKE married Samuel Wilbur Keeling on June 20, 1903 in Barryville, AR. She passed on October 19, 1966. The Sarah Amanda Keeling I was looking at was married to Richard Winfield POPLIN in Barry Co. I don't have a year for their marriage. This Sarah Amanda was born on April 13, 1864 and died February 22, 1938. I am sorry about the confusion and mixup. I hope this clears everything up. Thank you for calling my attention to the mistake.
