List Readers: This week's featured photo on the Barry County web site was submitted by Darla Marbut. This is a wonderful old photo - one that will be treasured forever. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/oddsnends/bryfams.htm In the photo are the following: Perry Elehu Williams (Born 1903), Nora Arizona Williams (Born 1899), Mary "Mollie" Elizabeth (Easley) Maloney (Born 1883), Hiram Edward Williams (Born 1905), Jessie Eveline Williams (Born 1896), and Mary Elizabeth (Russell) Easley (Born 1845) (Mrs. Edward Easley). The Williams children shown here were living with Edward and Mary Easley because their mother, Julia Easley Williams (Mrs. William Williams), had died. June 29, 1907, Saturday, Cassville Democrat, Barry Co., MO - Edward Easley of near Eagle Rock was in this city (Cassville) Monday and said he would leave Thursday for Mountain View, Okla., where he goes to bring the remains of his daughter, Mrs. Wm. Williams, who died there about six months ago, home for burial in the Easley Cemetery near his home. Mr. Easley and wife have three of Mrs. Williams' children, and will probably raise them. John Easley, his brother accompanied him. And notice that Mary Easley is bare-footed. I've seen this photo before but never noticed that before. Also notice the neat looking bonnets that the girls are wearing. They sure were all very cute girls. Again, thanks, Darla for sharing this wonderful old photo with us and for telling us about it, too. Donna Cooper
