My late Mother, Marguerite Hoyt, a lifetime resident of Wheaton, said that Wheaton had two hotels in the early days, one on east Main and one on the west end of Main. It was a common practice for traveling photographers to set iup in one or the other Hotel. I spent quite a lot of time today reading The Wheaton Journal for 1919 and saw no ad for any photographer traveling or otherwise. The newspapers for year 1918 is not available. I did however, send Donna a postcard photo of a R.E. Hinchey photo made of the Chenoweth and Frazier Drygoods store in 1918 in Wheaton. Betty
