    3. Good Morning! I know that you receive compliments all the time...But,...I can't resist adding my two-cents to the List. The devotion and work for this site is so evident and I personally appreciate the efforts more than I can express. I am so neglectful about posting my own connections and need to do that, I know. However, I can't resist just sending a huge THANK YOU for all the work that has been done specifically in the area of photos and information about the old rural schools. I belong to the Country School Association of America which works to preserve the old rural country schools across America. I do not know if anyone is presently involved in preserving one Barry County school amongst the many I have seen online, but think I should mention that the CSAA does provide some small grants to groups who are trying to restore an old school for others to learn about, etc. So, I thought I should mention that. Of course, I'd also like to personally know about which school that might be...so, please share if you know of any kind of work along those lines. The CSAA is knowledgeable about paint analysis and all sorts of things that help in restoring a school in its true fashion. I am merely learning as I go though so have to defer to the brilliance of many others in the group. :-) Through my own artwork I am trying to also research and share about the children who attended these schools and create some sort of series with some historic significance to early education in Missouri. (I'm a retired art teacher.) Once finished I hope you won't mind if I ask you for suggestions for exhibiting the artwork in Barry County too. I have lots to learn from you and am so appreciative of everything you all do to preserve the history of Barry County. Thank you over and over again. Sincerely, Deb (Shipman) Rowe
