Hello. I just wanted to let everyone know that I have just completed a big update to the Osa Cemetery pages. I have been working on collecting all of the names and date information from the cemetery, and have finally got everything typed into the online pages. I would consider the pages now complete in regard to stones that are existing in the cemetery. There is still the possibility for more names from unmarked graves. There are almost 800 names/stones in the Osa pages and I have posted about 350 photos. I will continue to work on taking the remaining photos this spring. Also, I see folks are using the Obit tool to submit obit information. I haven't cleaned out the temp file in a few days because I've been working on the Osa pages... but please don't let that stop you from making submittions. I'll get to them!! have a great day, stefanie stephens-forester
Dear Stefanie, So glad Osa is finished and thanks for all you do. Many of us use the Barry Co Cemetery information. Also, appreciate you taking care of the posted death certificates. As I read the old newspapers and I find one not in the obituaries I use the form to post them. Others have worked doing the same so we're getting a good collection. While I'm doing that I also check the cemetery mentioned to be sure they are listed in that cemetery. In the old days so many just had field stones so I'm delighted when I find information for them in the newspapers.
