Hi there, I was surfing the net and found the following query on a website-- I'm really intersted in knowing more (if anyone knows) about my grandfather, GEORGE E. LAMPHEAR,, born Sept.5, 1894, died in 1945. Son of Chauncey Lamphear(b. July 4, 1863) and wife Arminta Lamphear. Here's the bad news. George died in prison, presumably convicted of murder of his second wife. First wife was my grandmother, Ida (Trixie)Bigelow Lamphear, by whom he had three children, one of whom was my father. This has been a big family secret. I only found out about it after my father died. George E. died (I think), in prison, in Jefferson City, Mo,supposedly a suicide, and is buried in the family plot in Barry Co., Missouri. Any info out there about my family mystery? Thanks And her'as the e-mail address of the person asking about this-- Judith Raxten <jrer@earthlink.net> Perhaps someone has heard about this family and their graveyard?!? jay trace _____________________________________________________________________________ ______ Like movies?
