Both of the City Cemetery listings I found in 1946, were for burials in Pierce City; so my question is which "city" are they referring to? Cheryl Frances and readers, I believe we'll find that City Cemetery will be Oak Hill. I have seen Oak Hill listed on an early Cassville plat as City Cemetery. Please go ahead and send us any burials listed in City Cemetery and we can check these out with the sexton of Oak Hill and make sure they are buried there. Thanks to everyone who has pitched in.
