List Readers: I put the featured photo to bed with pictures of Roaring River since that is a place that Barry County folks like to visit the most. These photos will ride there till I return to my posting duties. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/oddsnends/bryfams.htm I have been using my new software and reading newspapers. This morning I have all of July 1918 posted. Among these papers were letters from soldier boys and obituaries, and of course, some community items. By the way, my new software is working better since I have taught it how to pronounce some words southern style. One of the main problems that I see is that words that were used around hundred years ago are not used anymore. And, too, some words were used differently in those days than now. Grammatically, it is pretty obvious, that the Barry County papers did not win any awards. Nonetheless, I enjoy reading them and I know you do, too, and so I have a few new ones for you to enjoy today. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/news/7/index-7.htm While I'm away and recuperating from surgery, Darla has some ideas for the list that she will throw your way. So please hang in there with us and don't unsubscribe, I am sure that she will try and make it interesting for you. And - thank you for the well wishes that you been sending my way. I'll use them tomorrow. [smile] Donna Cooper ____________________________________________________________________________________ Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Yahoo! So, if I submit a photo of a recent burial, which I'm known to do, do I still do so, or do I save it? jay --- Darla Marbut <gmarbut@centurytel.net> wrote: > Donna, > Good luck today, we'll be thinking of you.
