Sure is nice having somebody look after these cemeteries. I only know of about 5 MO counties where somebody actively does this work. I'm sure there are many more, but I only know of a few. Yes, we're very lucky here in Barry Co to have people who are interested in preserving history and information of our ancestors....people who might be forgotten if it wasn't for them. Then we've also been blessed to have people who live out of state and can't work to offer to donate toward the expense of the restoration.
