    3. There was information about the Black School on the site a few weeks ago. It was mentioned that the Black School that was a log cabin on the B.J. Black property. It burned and another was built across the road from his property but still called Black School. In the near by Pilant Cemetery is a B.J. Black with other Black family members. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/cemetery/pilant/pilant-1.htm On the 1909 Atlas, B.J. Black is in Section 15 and in Section 16 is the school house.
