List Readers, Today I have several new cemetery listings for you. I will be working on the back log that I have stacked up a few more days and then will go back to posting Roller at Garfield. Barbara Erwin corrected a place of death with an obit for Maple Godard Scott. He is buried in Washburn Prairie. The researcher had posted that she died in Benton, AR, which is in Saline County, I think. Actually this person died in Benton Co., AR, so we now have it correct on our pages. Thanks, Barbara!!! I want our files to be correct so this was a good one to get! I have the obit that Barbara sent and I will post it soon. http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mobarry/cemetery/washburnprairie/wp.htm Phyllis Long posted these obits and death certificate notes for Washburn Prairie - Wanda Pauline (Burnette) Roller, a daughter of Amos Andrew and Martha Florence (Weathers) Burnette. Karen (Black) Lyles, Lottie Burke, an infant - new person added to the cemetery per death certificate, her mother was named Lottie Burke - nee Weston and is buried there, too. Alpheus Lamar, Alexander McGhee James, he went by "Doc" and married Mary Jane Wright. Wendall Glenn Hall, Jr. - son of Alfred Hall and Pansy Mae Forgey. Pansy has connections to Roller at Garfield that we are working on. Alfred was born in McDonald County. His father was John Hall and his mother was Martha Belle Ferguson according to Culver Funeral Home records. I can't remember who John's father was. Anyone know? I am having a senior moment - seems like Missouri Ann Woodard was Wendell's great grandmother - can't remember. http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mobarry/cemetery/washburnprairie/wp.htm Clay Hill Cemetery - Phyllis Long added from obits and dc - Oda Odeline Tunnell, Hattie Jane (Allmon) Robbins, Sarah Adeline (Stewart) Rickman, Delitha Berry, Ethel (Rickman) Hilton, Samuel Saul Siddall, Elmira Myra (Hilton) Shoemaker, Andrew Baker Baldwin. http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mobarry/cemetery/clayhill/clayhill.htm Jim Wilson added notes to these for Clay Hill - Mary Elizabeth (Springer) Robbins, Susan D. Sumners. http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mobarry/cemetery/clayhill/clayhill.htm Mt. Olive is the cemetery for Pioneer - Barry County Cemetery - and is barely across the line in Newton. I wish we had it on our the web site. These names were added by Phyllis Long - Miranda B. (Roe) Harrison, Malinda (Ennis?) Lee, Andrew W. Roe, Henry Newton Ray. http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mobarry/cemetery/mtolive/mtolive.htm Thanks to our helpers Barbara Erwin, Jim Wilson and Phyllis Long for our new items today. Try and stay cool! Donna Cooper
