    3. Donna, Does this help? November 6, 1913, Thursday, Cassville Republican, Barry Co., MO Seligman News: The body of W .S. Weston, was brought here from near Cassville, for burial the last of the week and was laid to rest in the Roller cemetery, south of town. Will had lived in Barry County all his life and was a good citizen and leaves a family to mourn his loss. David ----- Original Message ----- From: "Donna Cooper" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, August 05, 2010 12:15 PM Subject: [MOBARRY] Another Puzzle List Readers, here is another puzzle for your peacful and perhaps restful day. On the MoBarry site we have Marvelina Scroggins Weston buried in King or P. E. Roller - died in Apr 10, 1910 and was married to William Weston - information is from her death certificate. I now that her daughter Myrtle married Lemuel Berryhill, a brother to my grandmother, and I am pretty sure that she died in Montrey, CA. But - the puzzle is where are William and Marvelina buried. I noticed while working on the Roller Cemetery at Garfield that a lot of Weston folks are buried there and many of William's relatives. To add a little mud to the clearness of this - she has family in New Salem Cemetery. Marvelina Scroggins Weston's death certificate reads that she was buried in Roller Cemetery - and doesn't state Roller in AR, or MO so I assumed it was in MO or they would have added that it was in another state. She died of typhoid fever at age 35 and was a daughter of James and Elizabeth (Young) Scroggins, born in Carroll Co., AR. She was married to William. S. Weston, son of James Kelly and Mary Ann Elizabeth Arnold, buried in Roller at Garfield. In 1910 she had 6 children listed and was the wife of William Weston and in 1900 she was listed with W. S. Weston. They were in Sugar Creek Twp., which could place her close to either cemetery. I didn't find them on the 1910 plat map, because she died in April and her husband was already dead. Barry Co., Marriage record - June 8, 1890 and he was listed as W. S. Weston. William S. Weston was a son of James Kelly and Mary Ann Elizabeth (Arnold) Weston and they are buried in Roller Cemetery at Garfield. Now - here is the kicker. Since Lemuel Berryhill married Myrtle, her daughter, then I know for sure she would be living near Washburn because that is where he lived. So King - or P. E. Roller would make the more sense - more than taking her to Garfield to bury her. Can any of you help straighten out this puzzle? I just want our files to be correct. 3. Donna, I have in my files that Marvelana is buried in the Kings Cemetery. Elizabeth Young Scroggins was the daughter of Matilda Weathers who married Alfred Young. A descendant of the line gave me the information.
