I believe there is an obit/news item for Henry Metcalf in the Creason Cemetery already on the website--you night want to "connect" them and maybe that will help someone ID him! I was unable to locate a death certificate, so I have not found his Metcalf connection for sure but think he MIGHT be Henry Wilson Metcalf, born July 2, 1872 in Estill Co, KY to Hiram Casteel Metcalf & his wife Mary Ann Gabbard. (they are my great-great grandparents and I only have known that he died before 1920. If this is the right Henry, he married Cynthia Jane Porter (b. 9/15/1874 in Monett - died 10/22/1959 in Enid, Garfield Co., OK. She is buried in Maplewood Cemetery, Barry Co.) They did have 6 children (which matches the info in this death notice: Claud Mack, 1894; married Ethel Coffey John E., 1896; married Gladys Conley Paulina F., ca 1899; married E.W. Young Edward B., ca 1902 Delia F., ca 1905; married Henry Coffey Lucille "Lucy", b. 4/11/1909--married Leo Hutchens Here's a copy of the death notice posted on the website--what does anyone else think? *Henry Metcalf Dead* *Well Known Citizen Dies of Typhoid fever at Home Near Ridgley, Sunday* *Henry Metcalf, aged about 48 years, died at his home near Ridgley, Sunday, of typhoid fever. * *Mr. Metcalf was an excellent husband, father and citizen and was held in high esteem by all who knew him.
