List Readers, Robert Bradley wrote asking if we might know when Missouri Alice Lance died. She married Robert Moudy and he died in in 1919 in Corsicana. He was not able to find Robert and Missouri's marriage record or her death record. She was a daughter of Charles H. Lance and Nancy Jane Lee and was born in 1869 in Barry Co., MO. She is buried at Purdy Cemetery under Moudy. Her grandparents were William Wheeler and Caroline Coleman (Smith) Lee. She married in Barry Co., MO, to Robert Moudy, Feb. 26, 1891. However, there is a death certificate under the surname Marbut. Apparently she remarried. Missouri Alice Marbut Dec. 1, 1868 MO Mar. 31, 1944 Monett, Barry Co., MO She died at home and was a resident of the community all her life. Daughter of Charley Lance born KY and Nancy Jane Lee born TN. Wife of Jacob Marbut and he was the informant.
