Donna Cooper ----------------- NEWS ITEM Barry County Genealogical & Historical Society will meet Monday March 8th. At 7:00 p.m. @ the Barry County Museum. Guest Speaker will be Leslie Harrison Wyman – managing director of the White River Valley Historical Society & Museum in Taney County. Mrs. Wyman will be talking on “Cemetery Hoppers” this should be a very interesting and informative topic. Hope to see you at the meeting. ************************** CLARK CEMETERY FUNDS NEEDED. Progress is being made for a cleanup and fence replacement around the cemetery to prevent stray cows from entering the graveyard grounds. The Road District has started widening the road to enable Rick & Jim Horn of Butterfield to build a temporary fence to keep the cows out until funds have came in to build a nice fence similar to the one they did at the Russell Cemetery near Butterfield.
