List Readers, hello from here on this nice spring day! I have my garden planted, am cleaning up things from the trip we took and am busy as a bee. But, as you probably guessed, there is always some time for MoBarry genealogy. I have decided that I will probably never be caught up and will always be behind on posting so I decided to start working on Oak Ridge. To be behind speaks well of our researchers and really tells you how hard that they work because I post something almost every day. Here is the Oak Ridge Story - Elmer Thorn took a few but just jumped around in the cemetery so Darla Marbut started photographing this one, but her husband took sick and she had to stop right in the middle so Ted Roller help us out and took the rest of the photos - that was back in the fall of 2009. And then Phyllis Long renamed the photos and prepared them for the web while I was in California in the spring of 2010. Back in the winter of 2009 I redid all of the Oak Ridge pages and switched the code over to CSS - a more modern way of doing web pages - so that they would open faster. As you can see a lot of hands have already touch this one and we are far from done yet. So - to continue with the Oak Ridge story - this morning I started posting photos.
