List Readers, since tomorrow is Easter I am going to tell you about the featured photo for the coming week tonight. It was taken in 1949 and I submitted it. There are several people in the photo that I don't know the names of. I think at one time I probably knew all their names but it has been 61 years since this photo was taken. I am hoping that you will be able to help me name some or all of these folks. Sadly I must also tell you that many or probably the majority of these people are now deceased. The photo was taken in front of the old Washburn School before the gym was built. Donna, What kind of "a going on" was this occasion? Were you up there representing your 1st grade or was you queen of your 1st grade or what? Please explain more. I was in the first grade and the queen for my class, but the big girl was the real queen. I had a little crown and she had a big one. I think that they said it was like a homecoming but called it a carnival.
