I recently took a genealogy/camping trip to Crawford County, Arkansas.  While there, I was I made a side trip to Benton County to check for my gggrandfather, Elijah Molder/Moulder. We were pretty well able to find him every year but the Civil War years.  The archivist in Rogers, Ark told me that many of the men from that area went to Cassville, Mo to enlist with the Union forces.  That info nearly blew me away as I thought my family, for the most part, were Southern sympathizers. I have not been able to find Elijah Molder/Moulder in any of the Civil War info that I can find, nor can I find an obit or death record for him.  Does anybody have any other ideas?  I will try McDonald County, as I believe he has a son buried there.
