Billie If you haven't tried this site, you might give it a try. http://www.sos.mo.gov/archives/soldiers/ I found some of my family here that don't show up anywhere else.  I just did a search for both Molder and Moulder and several with this surname show up, but no Elijah.  Did he go by any other name? We were pretty well able to find him every year but the Civil War years.  The archivist in Rogers, Ark told me that many of the men from that area went to Cassville, Mo to enlist with the Union forces.  That info nearly blew me away as I thought my family, for the most part, were Southern sympathizers. I have not been able to find Elijah Molder/Moulder in any of the Civil War info that I can find, nor can I find an obit or death record for him.  Does anybody have any other ideas?  I will try McDonald County, as I believe he has a son buried there.
