Thomas A Boles' parents were Sampson (b abt 1835) and Susan Boles (b abt 1838), both in TN. All the children were born in Missouri, incl. Charles T abt 1851. Laura Jane was my ggrandmother Ann's sister. My grandfather Jack Scott was cousins with all the Boles' children and my mother (age 96 and still living) and aunt (deceased) remember going down to Rocky Comfort to stay with John and Sadie Boles. They also played with Chasta and Vesta, Charlie Boles' twin daughters. In a story passed down in our family, Sampson was killed by bushwhackers. He was up in his barn when shot.
