List Readers, Our featured photo for the coming week is one that I am pretty sure you are going to enjoy. It is of the Shiels farm near Purdy. This photo really belongs on a post card or on a calender. Or even better yet it would be nice in a frame hanging on my study wall. *smile*  Look at the pump and the old wagons in the background. I wonder what else is in this photo that I missed? It depicts a certain time in Barry County when life was simple and the farm was where things happened. John Shiels said this photo was taken in 1946 near Purdy. I think from his messages that his family lived in the Waldensian area.
