Thanks Ms Childress. My Grandmother was a nurse, not sure if practical or registered but she worked as such until her death, in her fifties. I suspect she understood the medical aspect of pregnancy and doubt her nutrition was faulty. Did they have birth/death certificates during 1900? This query is certainly less than critical, but I love all that I can learn of my heritage. Btw, my mother lived to be 101. Thanks again. Jim
