List Readers, Mano is almost finished. I have about 35 more to do and so I will try and finish it today. There is a stone that has me puzzled and since I know some of you are really good at figuring out what some of these old stones read I thought I'd ask if any of you can read this one. It is the first one listed on the unknown page and I have some notes there that I thought might help. I am not sure, however, if my notes are accurate, so your help will be appreciated on that issue, too. Also, I would like to know if the first man buried there was Abraham Lincoln Tow, who was murdered? I have a photo of what is left of his stone on the opening page. Edith Stever writes in her book "A Glance Back in Time" about this person - but I didn't see his name mentioned anywhere. If any of you know her you might ask her who it was so that we can add that to our data, too. Edith Stever's book review that Darla Marbut did is also linked to the opening page. Some time back Edith sent me a thank you card for adding this information to our listings. She said that she was happy to hear that we had given her book some coverage. I bought a copy of it but don't have any relatives mentioned in it - you know how that goes - just wanted to read it. *smile* http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mobarry/cemetery/mano/mano.htm Donna Cooper
