Well , to add my opinion, is that this photo might go as early as WW1 up into the 1920's. The girls are wearing what was commonly called "Middy Blouses" a sort of take off of sailor clothing but made in a feminine fabrics and laces. The hair bows are of the type that would have been worn in the so called flapper era..... The girls of the turn of the last century wore big hair bows but they were usually worn at the base of the neck or even on top of the heard but not usually with head bands. the dresses are shorter but not as short as the flapper style. The fellows hats also look a little different than the wider brimmed hats of the turn of the century...Of course it is dangerous to try to guess from Men's clothes as their styles did not change as much as the ladies did! But in any case without knowing who these couples are and could place them in a time frame????? but I do love to guess? I wonder if they were from around Wheaton? Pioneer was so close and a popular picnic spot even in my day.
