List Readers, I have a long list of new photos that were sent to us by Sandra Sorenson. I am sending her a cc since I don't recall if she is on the list mail service or not. You might have to use that address to correspond with her. Some are tin types and unidentified and not dated. Most of them she has names for, but no details. Adda Morris Prunkard was Sandra's grandmother. These page has four photos on it. One is of Lois Morris and the others are unidentified, but Sandra thinks that they are relatives. She said that Lois was a sister to Adda Morris who married John Thomas Prunkard, however, she gave no dates or other information for these gals. I am wondering who their parents were and who Lois married. Also, I have probably slept since I've seen these names and so I am wondering where they are buried. It was somewhat confusing to post these since they came 3 or 4 to a scan and so I hope that I have not messed anything up and that I have the right. http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mobarry/photos/photo-4/prunkardMorris.htm In the bundle were also these wonderful old photos - Adda (Morris) Prunkard in her wedding dress and one more photo. She was a beautiful lady and her dress looks like it might have been hand stitched. I don't know much about vintage clothing but do think this is a pretty dress. http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mobarry/photos/photo-4/morrisAdda.htm John Thomas Prunkard - this one was lopsided on the page and I tried to straighten it up but don't have a program to cut the edges for round that is handy to get to and use. http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mobarry/photos/photo-4/prunkardJohnT.htm This one is of John and Martha Prunkard, I assume possibly the parents of John Thomas Prunkard. http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mobarry/photos/photo-4/prunkardJohnMartha.htm This photo is of John Thomas and his brother Walter Prunkard. Sandra says the tall one is John, but I can't figure out which one is Walter. She didn't give me any clues on that so maybe some of you can help. Engine 3718 is an awesome sight for the hay days of trains. http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mobarry/photos/photo-4/prunkardJTWalter.htm This one is a family photo of John Thomas, Madge, Walter and Martha. >From the photo, I am guessing that John, possibly the father is dead. Sandra indicated that Martha died in 1908, so we can assume the photo was taken before then. If any of you know when Walter was born we could guess the photo about 12 or 13 years after than possibly. http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mobarry/photos/photo-4/prunkardJohnThomasFam.htm This one is of Adda Morris Prunkard and her friend Bertha Skaggs. Don't you wish women wore beautiful hats and dressed like that now days? http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mobarry/photos/photo-4/morrisAddaSkaggsBertha.htm Thanks so much, Sandra, for the exceptionally nice photos for our web site. Phyllis Long is working on Washburn Prairie and making speedy progress on her project of transferring the old font page data to our new CSS format. While digging around int he pages, she found one by the surname of Bryant who is buried in Oak Hill and so we removed him from Washburn. She just finished with S and so she is clicking along at a good speed. Thanks a ton, Phyllis, very nice work. Donna Cooper
