Donna, I am a list reader from Canada who will be visiting the Purdy area in September where my grandparents came from. My Grandpa and Grandma were Allan Cordell and Jenny (Depriest) McIntosh. The family lived in the area for a long time and thanks to the website I have photos of my great great grandparents and other family members. Since we don'tknow the area we aren't sure of where to stay. If I do a search for places to stay Monett seems to be the closest and the Super 8 seems the best. Can you advise if there are any other places that we should look at to stay. Also do any of the readers have an address of where my family lived lived. I am not sure how far away Neosho is from Purdy but they have a lot of hotels and motels there.
