List Readers, this tin type photo was restored by Gary Ball. It is of Caroline and Sarah Frances Smith. Sarah married George Long and was my great-great grandmother. Her sister Caroline was Ted Roller's great-great grandmother. The photo was taken about 1857 or 1858. There was another tin type with this one, I assume that was taken of some of the Smith family. Here is what I have posted - Caroline Coleman Smith and her little sister Sarah Frances "Fanny" Smith. Caroline was born Jan 1, 1846 and Sarah "Fanny" was born Oct 10, 1852. Caroline married Greenberry Roden and Sarah Frances married George Long. Sarah and George were my great-great grandparents and they are buried in Corsicana Cemetery.
