Stringer buried in the Barry Co., Mo Munsey Cemetery near Eagle Rock, Mo. The following is posted in the "Research" part of Munsey Cemetery info: "Research Note: B. Stringer's name when he first came to America from Italy was Bartolomea Stringatto. The following children were listed in the Barry County 1900 Census: Henry, Joseph, Caesar, and Rosa. Bartolomea Stringatto (Stringer)'s wife wasn't listed. Name on death certificate given as Bartholomew Stringetto. Birth date Feb. 2, 1835. He was widowed and a farmer. Parents not known. Joseph Stringetto of Eagle Rock, MO was the informant. Cause of death: General paralysis, had the first attack 6 years ago on one side. 14 days ago, had a second." Click on this link to see his tombstone and his families information: http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mobarry/cemetery/munsey/munseyn-z.htm There were Stringers in the Kings Prairie Township, Barry Co., Mo census. They married into my Whittington family. Kings Prairie is north of Monett, Mo. The Stringers at Eagle Rock married into my Garrett family. From where the census' are located, I'm pretty sure the Stringers at Kings Prairie and the ones at Eagle Rock are connected.
