    3. List Readers, When I was in Sweden several years ago, the local radio station was playing the country music song Grandma got run over by a reindeer. To make a long story short, the Swedes thought it was a funny song because in that little town, up near lap land, sometimes Grandma really did get run over by reindeer - even in the summertime. The father of the household told me "As for him and Grandpa they believed" and so that was why his smokehouse was full of smoked reindeer meat. It wasn't Christmas time - it was the 4th of July. But when I was ready to depart, my host family filled my suitcase with reindeer meat and cloud berries. They said to give me a safe journey back to the states. In case you wonder what I was doing in Sweden - I worked with a Student Exchange Program and had taken 50 students home and my last stop was in Sweden. I thought of that today while in Wal-Mart and they played - you guessed it - Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer. Okay, down to business. Patricia Garrett sent us a couple of Eagle Rock School photos. On the 1921-1922 I had trouble reading the list so if you see any mistakes, please let me know. She has most of them - but not all - named. http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mobarry/School-Book/Eagle-Rock/1921-1922EagleRock.htm On the 1913-1914 Eagle Rock School we don't have but a few names. http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mobarry/School-Book/Eagle-Rock/1913-1914EagleRock.htm Thanks, Patricia. We love old pictures and especially old school photos. Donna Cooper
