Although FINE wasn't the surname I was searching in Barry County, I remembered coming across some FINE photos while looking for info about my SOLOMON/JOHNSON/TIPPER ancestry. When I checked the names, I had some in my database. My information comes from the book "FINE LINES." When I went looking at the Barry Co website, the first thing I remembered to check was the obit for Joseph Madison FINE. The book FINE LINES pretty much stopped at Abraham FINE (2nd gr-grandfather of David A FINE & gr-grandfather of Joseph Madison FINE). This line descends from Thomas FINE m. Agnes MERCHANT through their 4th child/son Capt. John B. FINE. My line is through their 9th & final child, David FINE m. Ann CORDER, and a descendent of theirs married my 2nd-gr-grandfather William Thomas SOLOMON, son of John and Nancy JOHNSON SOLOMON. I wanted to search further on the Barry Co website, but I keep getting reminded that my dinner is getting cold. The book is packed away and in storage now, but I had pretty much transferred the contents into my PAF so I can share whatever anyone wants.
