    3. I have wondered for several years now if the John S. McMillin that I submitted as a civil war veteran is the same as the JP that performed several marriages in Barry Co. during the 1870s. As of yet I have not been able to connect one to the other. One marriage the JP performed was for Isaac T McIntosh and Mary E Tilley on Aug 3 1876 in Barry Co. I am certain that Isaac was a brother-in-law of John S. McMillin the Civil War soldier. If anyone can shed any light on the JP please let me know.
