    3. List Readers: I just want to touch base with you and let you know that I have been told that I am going to have to have surgery for the carpal tunnel that I've been suffering from for the past year. I don't have any details yet - but know that it is coming up fairly soon. I didn't want you to think that I was lagging around and not posting your photos and other things that you so generously have shared with us. I will try and post a few along the way - but it will be only a very few until I can get over this hump that I am idling on. I did post about 50 new photos in the last 3 days on Monett IOOF. But it is slow because I have to use my left hand to do most of it. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/cemetery/monett/monett.htm If several days pass and you see nothing happening, you'll know why. I hope that you will understand and hang in there with me until I can get this behind me. Donna Cooper

    1. [MOBARRY] Obits, Cemeteries
    2. Donna Cooper
    3. List Readers: Tonight we have several new entries in Concord Cemetery and at least one new obit. Darla Marbut sent us an obit for Henry Thomas' wife and I added her along with a Thomas child to Concord Cemetery. Beverly Matthews also added several new names to Concord. They were Powell, Woodward, Phillips, and there may be others, too, so you probably better take a look and see if there is anything new that you are interested in. Phyllis Long had one for Smith - that I think was in today's additions, too. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/cemetery/concord/concord.htm Obit section http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/data/obits.htm I am sorry my list keeping wasn't very good for today and so there may be more new obits other than the one I listed. A big thanks to Phyllis Long, Darla Marbut and Beverly Matthews for their help with today's new items. Donna Cooper

    3. Donna, Have you ever thought of using trying to reset your mouse for left handed. I use a left handed mouse.... not a right handed mouse on the left handed side. I use a left handed mosue at school(my work) and a right handed mouse at home. It's not hard to get used to the changes.. Just a thought. 2. Donna Cooper
    3. List Readers: Our featured photo for this week is from Beverly Painter Matthews. It is a post card photo that was submitted a long time ago and features the Davenport family of Barry County. The lady holding the purse is Cordalia "Corda" Rebecca Davenport, daughter of Richard Jackson and Ermelda Jane (Slaughter) Davenport. Corda married George Burnette "Dick" Gilham, April 4, 1917. The other folks are a Mr. Bynum and Family but she doesn't give any information about them. It looks like they are at some sort of street market from the buggy full of vegatables that is in the background. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/oddsnends/bryfams.htm Thanks so much, Beverly, for sharing this wonderful old post card with us. Elizabeth Ann Doty - Phyllis Long added and she was added to Oak Hill. Deanna Poe was added to Oak Hill by Beverly Painter Matthews from the death certificates. Paul Henbest was added to Oak Hill by Phyllis Long from an obit. J. L. Jackson was added to Oak Hill by Phyllis Long from an obit. Leo Blaine Edmondson was added to Oak Hill by Frances Albert from a death certificate and other files. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/cemetery/oakhill/oakhill.htm Henry Parks' name was added to Quaker from an old obit from Darla Marbut. There is no stone for him there. His obit was added to the obit files. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/cemetery/quaker/quaker.htm Notes were added to Clark Cemetery - and I don't have a list on this one. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/cemetery/clark/clark.htm On New Site Cemetery - I had a mistake in data. It was one of those things that I had correct in my files but typed it wrong for the cemetery files. I had Solomon Rumbaugh married 1st Etta Bell Haddock - it should have read 2nd My thanks to Laurie Phinney for catching this typo for me. He married first Sarah Browning - as most of you know. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/cemetery/newsite/index.htm Jay Trace mention that I had Oletha Holloway's named spelled Aletha on the list messages. I do have it correct in the obit files. When I type an obit I write the name on a piece of paper so I can tell you about it. Then after it gets cold I can't read my writing. [smiles] So, thanks, Jay, for telling me about the boo-boo. Jay knew this lady and said she was a very nice person. He said she was a master seamstress and had her own shop. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/data/obits.htm Today, January 12th, marks two years as your coordinator. You have helped me add about 6200 pages to the web site these past two years and have done a tremendous job on the cemeteries and other things such as the obits. You have shared your old photos with the web site and have showed us what good research looks like. My personal thanks for a job well done. Thanks for all you do and for making the past two years really good ones. Our thanks to Linda Garrett, Jay Trace, Darla Marbut, Frances Albert, Phyllis Long, Laurie Phinney and Beverly Matthews for their help on today's new items. Donna Cooper

Do you think that these two ladies could be the same person? http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/photos/photo-3/crumley.james.estella.htm http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/photos/photo-3/lady.lace.1.htm Horner Cemetery - added Thomas Smith's name and his obit and one also for Ralph Hankins and also added his name to the cemetery files for Horner. 3. List Readers: I have a lot of new obits tonight. Our thanks to Linda Garrett Darla Marbut and Loretta Vinson for their help on today's new items. Lottie Whittington Cleta May (Pogue) Moller Nancy Ruth Maroney Marcella (Cline) Brock William Sherman Hankins Margaret Annie Hankins James Mead Thomas Smith Anna Marguerite (Metcalf) Swaffer Pate Edmonds Lillie Butler Neomah Jean (cox) Gibbons Ethel (Poole) (Fly) Lautaret Frank Woodruff Virginia Lee (Evans) Garrison Thomas William Banks Shirley (Clark) Winters There may have been more that I didn't get listed so it might be a good idea to cruise through and take a look for the names that you might be interested in. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry/data/obits.htm I will be working on the obit section for a few more days so now is a good time to get those to me. The page size for the obit page print out has now been changed to fit a regular sheet a paper so you can print out an obit and put it in your family notebooks if you like doing that sort of thing. I am finding a few obits that are linked up wrong or not linked at all after our move - so if you have one that you thought might have been lost, drop me a note so that I will know to look for it. Have a good evening. Donna Cooper
