    3. Fran, I think that given she died in Monett and had a Pierce City undertaker that THIS City Cemetery reference probably is the IOOF in Monett. But we'll check it against Oak Hill. Thanks for the information. 3. Cherry, I have two old books that belonged to C.F. Siler. He gave the books to my dad, Rev. Loren Lauderdale, in the mid 1930's when my dad was a young preacher in Barry County. I would be happy to donate the books to the Museum, if you would like them to display in the bookcase. One book is titled "God's Plan With Men", copyright 1912. His signature in rather large bold letters, C.F. Siler, is written in the front of the book. The other book is titled "Timothy's , Second Wife" copyright 1922. It also has his name in the front of the book, plus "Tulsa Okla." I have a third book that I may wish to keep. In the front of this book, my dad has written his name with the notation "This book was presented to me by Rev. C.F. Siler, Cassville, MO Oct 1940." This book was published in 1908, the year my father was born. I remember Rev. Siler, but can't really tell you very much about him. I remember setting in his office in Cassville, as a small child, while my dad visited with him. I remember him as a small man, very kind. You probably know my brother Bob Lauderdale who lives in Cassville. I live in Jamestown, MO, center of the state, near Jefferson City, and Columbia. I visit Cassville two or three times a year. If you are interested in the books, I can bring them the next time I visit Cassville. 3. Hi Cherry, A preliminary "quick look" C.F. Siler was a Baptist Preacher and two of his churches were; New Hope Baptist, 1907 east of Butterfield, and Wheaton First Baptist Church in Wheaton.(no Date) He's after Charles Vanzadt second tenure and before Rev. W. P Richardson, which woulld most likely be late 1930's or early 1940's, notes from Wheaton Echoes and on page 153 there is a small picture of Barry County ministers, he might be in that? The picture in the book is small but we have it scanned and I could send it if you want or need it? Also there is a group picture of Barry County ministers on the MOBarry Webb site, I believe it is different than the one in Wheaton Echoes? I also think I have the group names but did not have room in the book to list them. I remember him and might be able to pick him out of a group? I was a small child in the 40's. He was fairly old then.
