List Readers - here is a puzzle for you. I am looking for an obit for Sue Lemons who was born about 1942 and died 10 or so years ago. She was in the class of 1960 graduating class at Southwest High. She may have committed sucide in Monett - not sure abou that. I don't know if she was married or not, but Lemons was her maiden name. Can any of you help me with this puzzle? Donna Cooper

Do you have or have you access to The History of Stone County? My Stephens connection comes in on the McCullough and Kincaid sides of the family. I will look the exact info up and mail you later to day. (Right now I got well malfunctions and it ain't pretty to deal with). I will look up Mary Alice Stephens in Stone County book, Edna Hazel McCullough Lowery collection and Carroll County book to see what I find. Where are you located? I'm in Nebraska but am quite familar with the Barry/Stone County area. Will be making a trip there in the next couple of weeks. Hope to do some hunting around. List Readers, welcome to this beautiful spring day here in Missouri. Well, let's just pretent you are here enjoying the sunshine with us. Jimmy Houston a school mate of mine sent us a Washburn School photo for the year of 1924. It is in the School Book in the Washburn section. This photo was taken the first year that the school was built. I can't name any of the people in it but maybe some of you can. http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mobarry/School-Book/w-index.htm Washburn Prairie Cemetery Phyllis Long submitted - Curtis Bulter, Mamie Alvina (Lockwood) Betterton http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mobarry/cemetery/washburnprairie/wp.htm Horner Cemetery Darla Marbut submitted - Samuel Morgan Smith, Leavy Hefley, Phyllis Long submitted - Alfred King, Bessie Roberts, Betty J. (Lowe) Tucker http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mobarry/cemetery/horner/horner-index.htm Oak Hill Cemtery Darla Marbut submitted - Joe H. Ayers, M. Anna (Turner) Ayers, Bill Utter Submitted - Sarah Allen (Utter) Carver, Cornelius Hackworth Carver Phyllis Long submitted - Benjamin Bethel. http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mobarry/cemetery/oakhill/oakhill.htm Also Phyllis Long did a little fine tuning on Washburn Prairie and so there were about 30 changes that were made. Some were photos for names that we didn't have one for and others were clean up jobs - corrections, additions and the like. So you might want to log on and take a look at that one if you have an interest in that cemetery. http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mobarry/cemetery/washburnprairie/wp.htm The 1960 School - 50th Reunion book is growing and some people are starting to find and send old photos and programs for different occassions now. http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mobarry/School-Book/Reunions/index.htm In this school photo we need the names of those that are pictured. I hope that some of you will be able to name these folks for us. I knew a few of them but not many and there are a few more that I might have a guess for. http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mobarry/School-Book/Reunions/1960-Southwest/1960First.htm Thanks goes to Jimmy Houston, Bill Utter, Phyllis Long and Darla Marbut for their help with today's new items.
