Seeking any information available regarding Harrison C. Bodkin (born abt. 1841 in Harrison Co., KY) and Nancy A. Snodgrass (born abt. 1843). According to two sources, the couple was married in Audrain Co., Missouri on December 22, 1870, by a J. B. Leachman, Justice of the Peace. Harrison was an older brother of my great-great grandfather, Zachary Taylor (Z.T.) Bodkin. I have no other information about Harrison and Nancy other than she might have been married previously and Snodgrass might have been the last name of her first husband. I would like to know if they remained in Audrain County after their marriage. Could someone with access to the 1880 Census, please, look to see if they were there and if so provide me with any information included in that census? Note that this family has shown up under various spellings including "Botkin," "Bodkins" and "Botkins." As always I appreciate the assistance of all the wonderful volunteers on this list. Rod: Here is what I found in the 1880 census. These were the only Bodkins in Audrain County. Then below the Audrain County stuff you can see I found an H. Bodkin with a wife, Nancy in Knox County, MO.
