I am quite new to this list and have traced Aylette Walden from his birth county of Rappahannock CO, VA to Audrain CO. I learned that he had migrated to MO when I found the will of his mother dated 1848. He apparently was accompanied by a brother William M. Walden. I am particulalry interested in sharing information about Aylette Walden, who may have been either a farmer or a merchant. Thank you.
I can't find an Aylette Walden in the census but I don't have census indexes for 1830-1850, and of course there was no Missouri in 1820 or earlier. I did find a Telson Walden in Salt River Twp., Audrain Co. in 1860, 41, b KY, with S. A., female, 36, b KY. They had 6 children listed with them, 5 born KY and the youngest b MO. There is also record of a marriage in Audrain Co. of Irwin J. Sims to Bettie Walden, Nov. 18, 1872. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Friends. Fun. Try the all-new Yahoo!
