    1. MALLORYs in MO
    2. M. Mallory
    3. Our Mallorys are from John Mallory (sometimes spelled Mallery) of CT, Rev. War soldier and DAR Patriot. We don't know who his parents were. His wife was Esther Webb and they were md. in Saybrook, CT in 1775. They are buried in Glens Falls, NY. I have followed only one of their children's lines - Isaac, who fought in the War of 1812 and then settled in Chautauqua Co., NY. Some of Isaac's children went on to Erie Co. PA, IL, MI, NE, TX and AR but I know of none who were ever in MO. I see from the 1900 census of Audrain Co. that Thomas W. Mallory, 83, of Wilson Twp., was born in VA. He was living with a dau whose md. name was Moore. I know that there was an early Mallory family in VA because I kept tripping over them when researching my own Mallorys, but I have collected no information on them. They seem to be a completely unrelated line to mine. Also found these two in 1870: MALLORY JONATHAN 51 M W OH MO AUDRAIN SALT RVR TWP MALLORY MARY 13 F W MO MO AUDRAIN PRAIRIE TWP And these two in 1860: MALLORY E 46 M W KY MO AUDRAIN SALING TWP MALLORY G W 30 M W KY MO AUDRAIN SALING TWP So, one group seems to have come from KY and another from OH, plus Thomas from VA. Don't know if any of these are related to each other or not. Sorry, but I don't have earlier census indexes. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Friends. Fun. Try the all-new Yahoo! 3. My Mallorys are from Virginia and later around 1820 into Monroe and Audrain County Missouri. My grandmother and parents lived in the Salt River Township also. My GGrandmother was Mary Alice Mallory born in Montgomery County, MO in 1862. She married William Merritt White. Thomas Phillips -----Original Message----- From: M.
