I am seeking information regarding my second cousin 3 times removed Captain William Eller who served in Company K, 1st Missouri Cavalry. He was born April 7, 1833, in either Ohio County, Virginia or Marshall Co., W.Va. to Elias Eller and Mary Standiford. The family would later move to Audrain or Callaway Co., MO. He died, I believe, after August 1911 in Auxvasse, Callaway County and was supposedly buried in Elmwood Cemetery, Mexico, Audrain County, MO. Would there be any records available regarding his service in the Confederacy? Did he ever marry and have any children, etc.? Rod, Austin, TX.
