Hi List Where is , or was Worcester, MO. My g. grandpaneerts lived near there in 1884? I don't see it on the map. Thanks. Howard Fitzpatrick
Hi, I am frantically getting ready to leave town for 10 days, so I don't have time to find my maps. However, here is where I think Worcester was. You have to take a road that goes north east out of Mexico toward Rush Hill, Vandalia and Laddonia. I don't have the name of the road. Before you get to any of these other places, you cross Littleby Creek and go up a hill. At the top of the hill is Littleby Baptist Church on the right. Turn right on the dirt road next to the church. You go back a little ways and find a few houses clustered together. I think this is all there is of Worcester. I went there last fall, Sept. 2001. There is a cemetery behind Littleby Baptist and several of the folks I mentioned in my Roll Call note are buried there. If someone else from Audrain County knows better about where Worcester is, please let us know. What were your g grandparents' names, Howard?
