David; Your message re' Wallace was interesting. I've been looking for my husband's gr'father, James Burke/Burks for some time, but w/o success. He mar' (Anne?) Eliz. Wallace (b. in IN 13 July 1858, d. 10 July 1932 in Saline Co, MO), & have also been told by fam' members, that he was also related to the Wallaces (thru inner marriage?). He also had changed his name at some point (no clue what from). James Burke/Burks & Eliz. Wallace had 2 sons, James Isaac Burks(my husband's father) b. in IN 15 June 1875, & Jessie B. Burks b. in MO? Aug. 1885. Eliz' mar' (2) Pressley A. Rader (b. 1863), on Sept. 14 1890 in Saline Co, MO & there were 3 more children btw 1891-1894, re 1900 Saline Co, Census, w/ Jesse B. Burks living in the Rader household at age 15. Altho, according to a recently found Ancestry.com file, Rader was Eliz.'s 1st marriage. If you have any info re' above, of Wallace's in INdiana, I'd be most grateful & will gladly share. Eliz. was born in White Co, IN as well as her parents Abner & Lena Wallace & another dau.
