Looking for family of Nancy HURT b. 1842 MO m. Edward FITZPATRICK abt 1863 d. 1900 probably Prairie TWP , Audrain Co. MO. Edward & Nancy lived in Salt River TWP, Audrain Co. in 1870 census and had 3 children: Mary Bell, age 6; Dennis, age 4; Kate, age 2. Edward & Nancy lived in Linn TWP, Audrain Co. in 1880. Nancy's parents were both from KY. Edward immigrated from Ireland in 1840, Parents unkn. Edward & Nancy had at least 7 additional children: Edward, b. 1770; Lulu, b. 1872; Wilard b. 1876; Lawrence, b. 1877; Carl, b. 1880; Nanie, b. 1884; Annie, b. 1884. Edward Sr.lived with dau. I am working on the family of John Wallace McKee, who lived in Audrain County ca 1860 until 1876, when he moved with his wife and unmarried children to Texas. McKee was born in Harrison County, KY, in 1811; died in McLennan County, TX, in 1897. Children by his first wife (Eliza McMurtry) were Loyd Henry, Margaret Emma, and James David. Children by his second wife (Myra Catherine Herndon) were John Wallace II, William Traverse, Kate Elizabeth, Ida, Alice Nutt, Mary Frances, Luke Vigo, and Blanche. Three other children died in infancy. Of this family, only James David McKee remained in Missouri. He owned a business in Mexico and was for many years city treasurer. I have a lot of information on this family and will be willing to share. I also have the family Bible of George and Ida Cardwell, whose daughter Josephine married Loyd Henry McKee.
