I am researching the families of Housen CANADA, first mayor of Sturgeon (Yes, I know Sturgeon is in Boone Co. His farm evidently was in Audrain, but closer to Boone). He was married to Eliza Jane WAYNE. Their daughter, Lucy, married Dr. Walter A. BOYD in 1864 in Audrain Co. The name Housen and Canada appear as various spellings. Lucy's marriage cert. lists it as CANADY and Housen appears as "Houser" in records on FamilySearch which has some records of Boone Co. posted there. Anybody with info on these families????
