Just wanted to say 'HI' to you Thomas. My 2nd cousin twice removed, Alice Richart, was married to Dan Violette. I believe Dan was the son of Merritt Violette. I don't have the Violette ancestry, so I don't know if he was the son of Merritt Sr. or Jr. I may be wrong because I am not looking into my records that I have on file.
