Ruth, William L. COLE and his wife, Ida EDWARDS, are not listed on the 1900 census. You might try looking around the King City area (Buchanan Co.?), as I know her parents were there in 1897, while she still lived in Fillmore. Emma EDWARDS (Dec 1872-10 Apr 1946) married Cortz JENKINS around 1895. On the 1900 Andrew Co., MO census, she was listed at Empire Twp., Household 113, on the 1910 census at Empire Twp., Household 94, and on the 1920 census, at Empire Twp. Household 24. They had children Jeanette, Mary, Russell, and David. Ada "Addie" EDWARDS (Oct 1876-1909) married George SMITH c. 1900, and had a son, George. She was also on the 1900 Andrew Co. MO census, Empire Twp., Household 113. Mamie F. EDWARDS (Nov 1886-1922) married Henry Keck. She is at Empire Twp., Household 2, on the 1900 Andrew Co. MO census. Since I note that Emma, Ada and Mamie were daughters of Henry and Jeanette EDWARDS, I assume that Ida is also. I would like to clear this up, as I have another Ida that I thought to be the wife of William L. COLE. If you have evidence that Mrs. Cole was the daughter of Henry & Jeanette, I would like to change my errors. Monica
