    3. Hi Linda, I mis-spoke in my previous e-mail and I apologize. The 1840 Missouri census on genealogylibrary.com does NOT have Andrew County. Buchanan is there, which is nearby, and where I did find a few Blankenship listings for someone else, but not Andrew. According to Ancestry's Red Book, Andrew County was not formed until 1841, while Buchanan County was formed in 1838, though both areas were part of the Platte Purchase. As for the 1850 Andrew County census, I found the following: name location page# Kinney, John Nodoway Twp. 031 Kinney, John H. Nodoway Twp. 029 Kinney, William W. Nodoway Twp. 032 Knight, Daniel Rochester Twp. 104 1840 Buchanan County census: Kinney, John Nodaway Twp. 149 Hope this helps! I have been ordering census films and most so far have been so bad that I can not read them. Just finished the 1870 and it was a bust. Nothing was readable.. Any help would be appreciated.
