The following are found on the 1860 census of Jefferson Twp, Andrew Co: WILLIAM NORTON AND WIFE, DORCAS JOSEPH HASTINGS AND WIFE, MARY DR. CHARLES W. CAPLES AND WIFE ELIZABETH Can anyone tell me if any of the above owned land at that time, and if so, please give me a legal description? Am trying desperately to locate info on GGGrandfather, Pleasant Irvin Perkins, who may have occupied land adjacent to the above. Thank you for any help. Peggy
