    1. [MOADAIR] Descendants of Thomas J. and William A. Stewart
    2. Karen Conroy
    3. The above brothers settled in Adair County by the 1860 census and stayed there until they died. Thomas J. (1809-1883) and William A. (1822 to 1900) were the sons of Charles Stewart b. 1777 and Mary Price and born in Kentucky. Thomas had one son William S. born in 1842. who died in 1917. Thomas had four sons--Addison, Reese or Reason, Ellis, and Moody. Son no. 1 Addison was born in 1864 and had a son Lawrence born in 1888 who had a son Robert born in 1920. Addison also had a son named Addison born in 1915. Son no. 2 Reese or Reason was born in 1869 and had three sons--Wesley born in 1891 (who had a son Wesley E in 1912),William in 1892, and Reese in 1913. Son no. 3 Ellis was born in 1883 and had three sons--Lester in 1902 (who had a son Raymond in 1928), Frank in 1905, and Harley in 1910. Son no. 4 Moody was born in 1885. William A. had two sons. Son no. 1 John Thomas was born in 1846 and had one son Ole W. born in 1879. Son no. 2 was Richard Carlisle born in 1854. He had sons Charles E. born in 1876, Walter O. in 1880, Chester O (known as Orville) in 1883, William in 1891, and Amon in 1896. I have gathered the above from the censuses so could be wrong about dates of birth and some relationships. If anyone is related please get in touch. I am a descendant of William Stewart (1766-1853) who is possibly the brother of Charles Stewart (b. 1777). They both married Price sisters in Harrison County, Ky. Karen

    3. Karen, I know this is a long shot, but I have a group of photos that I have no idea who the people are or how they're related. Some of the photos had names written on the back. Some have the Stewart and Price surname. If you would like to take a look and see if there is a connection to your family, the photos are located here: http://www.loricamper.com/coppermine/thumbnails.php?album=6&page=1 Lori Camper At 07:59 PM 01/07/2008, you wrote: >The above brothers settled in Adair County by the 1860 census and stayed >there until they died. >Thomas J.
