After seeing the 1880 Adair Co, MO, census listing him and his family, I'm quite sure that Maggie Sees who died in Kirksville June 1885 was his daughter. She married my great great uncle, John Patterson (1830-1907), in March of 1885, just 3 months before her death. She was 34 years John's junior. I'm glad to have more information about her now than shown in my family records.
