My Great Grandfather John Gilson b. 1814 resided in Adair County in 1880. The family moved to Nebraska with or without John after 1880. I have enquired to both states but nothing has been found on John's death. His wife Edna Gilson is listed as a widow in the 1885 Nebraska State census, so John died between 1880 and 1885, possible buried in the Paultown cemetery.
