I am trying to determine if there are any old news papers that were published in some town of Adair County back around 1876. John B. Ward, son of my great grandfather, lived in Adair County at the time of death of his father (my great grandfather), Charles Ward. Charles died 19 September 1876 in Knox County and I found an obituary of him in the Edina Sentinal but what I was hoping maybe there were other news papers published and maybe I could find another obit in one of them. Since this son John B. lived in Adair County, I thought maybe there would be an obit published in some news paper about his father's death in that county. The obit of the Edina Sentinal did not contain any info about Charles' parents and I thought maybe if I found another obit in some relative's town, that maybe it would...just by chance. Any thoughts or ideas that you can help me with? Would sure appreciate anything. Carl Ward
